Bio:

Marie Calixte is a passionate lifelong learner. She has over 25 years of dedicated experience in special education services and educational leadership within NYC school districts. Her extensive background includes working closely with children with special needs and their families, where she deeply understands the initial challenges parents face in accepting developmental differences.

Driven by her love for service, Marie felt called to follow Christ and pursue studies in Theology, earning another Master's Degree in Divinity Studies and an Advance Certificate in Spiritual Direction. Embracing her role as a Mystic of Everyday Life, Marie is committed to supporting fellow Christian mystics in their spiritual journeys through her Ministry of Spiritual Direction. Marie's mission is to illuminate the path of mysticism through accompaniment, listening with the ear of her heart, and creating a sacred space for those seeking a deeper understanding of their faith.

This definition of God as Love further seals our mystical identity. Our approach is to emphasize listening with the ear of our hearts, foster a spirit of contemplation and compassion.  We offer hospitality, honoring the person’s journey and exercise humility in a space where one  feel safe to bring their stories in a space of trust,  faith, and encounter experiences through invitation
